Klimno is a quiet, romantic small village ornamented by the small, 14th century church of St. Clement, to which it owes its name. The church is well known for its beautiful altar relief, which is protected as a national cultural heritage. Klimno has been a popular destination for many years, and is well known for its rich gastronomic offering with restaurants serving seafood and other specialties along with the wonderful local wine "Žlahtina"
There is also a marina berth with a dry dock. Accomodations include private villas and apartments. Car camping site is also available. Surrounded by pine-trees and other mediterranean plants, Klimno is a popular destination for excursions, reachable by both land and sea. In the immediate vicinity there is also the settlement Soline, known for its Pre-Roman saltpans. Offering private accommodation, it is becoming more and more popular owing in particular to its medicinal mud baths. The baths not only possess healing properties, but also offer an additional sensation of exotic vacation. A sheltred bay and shallow warm sea, together with temperate climate, make bathing and various sea activities possible from the beginning of May until late Autumn.
